  BROADCAST OUTREACH for The Trilogy

Our goal for the Outreach is to inform the public about the history and status of reproductive rights in the United States. The best way to do this is to make the tapes available for loan or a minimum fee.  Volunteers borrow or buy tapes to bring to their local Cable Access station, which will generally broadcast the programs they receive.  If you are able to buy the tapes, pricing information is available.

We are also looking for people to help us broadcast the Spanish subtitled versions of the Trilogy.

WHAT BROADCAST VOLUNTEERS DO:

BROADCAST UPDATE:
More than 150 Cable Access stations have already or will be programming tapes from the Trilogy, and more than 90 PBS affiliates have taken the satellite feed or have requested preview tapes. One or more films in the series have been broadcast on PBS in the following states: Pennsylvania, Colorado, Oklahoma, Nevada, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, New York, Nebraska, Alaska, and New Jersey. Five stations in California carried the series: KVIE, KEET, KCSM, KIXE, and KTEH. Many additional stations throughout the country plan broadcasts during 1999/2000.

ADDITIONAL WAYS YOU CAN BECOME INVOLVED:
Whether there is a broadcast scheduled in your area or not, there are other ways in which you can become involved with this project, such as hosting a community screening.
