The poetry of the Sufi poet Rumi, the original Whirling Dervish, read by Dorothy Fadiman in collaboration with the translator of this poetry, Coleman Barks. Live music performed on flute, violin, and tamboura is interwoven with the readings. Vocal and musical score produced by Dorothy Fadiman.


Productions by Concentric Media

Since 1976, Concentric Media has been producing award-winning documentaries, most notably THE TRILOGY: FROM the BACK ALLEYS to the SUPREME COURT and BEYOND, a series of three videos on reproductive rights produced with PBS affiliate KTEH-TV San Jose, now also available with Spanish subtitles or on audio tape. Other Concentric Media productions include DEAR Dr. SPENCER: Abortion in a Small Town, and most recently, an acclaimed short subject, FIX-IT SHOPS: An Endangered Species, which takes an affectionate look behind the scenes of Menlo Park's Vacuum and Fix-It Shop.
